Scott Along With His Two Brothers Spent A Weekend Up In God's Country
Mid summer on the rivers here in the upper Midwest means shallow warm water and aggressive fish of all species. When water temps reach that mid 70 degree mark, metabolisms are in full swing. Smallmouth bass and walleyes during these times tend to prefer the chase versus a slower finesse approach.
Jimmy D’s swim jigs are my absolute staple this time of year and tend to throw it the majority of the day. Obviously everything has a time and a place…this is my favorite time for this aggressive horizontal technique.
